Not investment advice

Smart Goblin explains what companies report in their SEC filings. Nothing on the site is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Make your own decisions, and consult a qualified adviser where you need one.

No guarantee of accuracy

The summaries, scores and tags are written by AI models and may contain mistakes or leave out something that matters. The key figures come from the company's own XBRL data and may be wrong too, for example when a filing is tagged unusually. Every page links to the original filing on SEC.gov; check it before you rely on anything. The site is provided as is, without warranties, and we may change or remove content at any time.

Using our content

You may read the site and share links to it for personal, non-commercial use. You may quote short excerpts if you name Smart Goblin and link to the page you quote.

Without our written permission you may not copy, republish or sell the summaries, figures, scores or tags, in whole or in substantial part, or extract them systematically, for example by scraping, to build a dataset, a database or a competing service, or to train AI models. Search engines and AI search assistants may index the pages and quote them with a link back.

Datataide oy reserves all rights in the site's content and in its collection of summaries and figures, including copyright and database rights. The SEC filings themselves are public records, and company descriptions quoted from Wikipedia stay under their own licence, as each one states; these terms do not restrict them.

Accounts

An account is for one person. We may suspend an account or block access that abuses the site or these terms. How we handle account data is in our privacy policy.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Datataide oy is not liable for losses arising from using the site or relying on its content.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the version on this page applies. These terms are governed by the laws of Finland.
